Basic Manners

Self Control - Dog ignores treat on the floor behind the Handler.

Leash Walking/Heeling - Dog walks on loose leash for 2 minutes with 25 or fewer rewards.

Training Concepts - Handler builds drive and focus through communicating to the dog about when he is working and when he has completed the task.

Sit/Down - Dog sits/downs for 20 seconds while handler moves 6 feet away.

Recall - Dog reliably runs 6 feet to Handler when called.

Strangers - The dog willingly allows a friendly stranger to touch his collar.

Target - Dog moves 6-inches to touch his nose to Handlers palm.

Trainer Skills - Trainer can teach dog new skills in class without relying on punishment.

Proprioception - Dog learns to walk on a plank.

Tricks - Dog knows 2 tricks.
