Block 4Leash Walking/Heeling - Dog walks on loose leash for 2 minutes with significant distractions. Training Concepts - Handler understand how and when to add verbal cue. Sit/Down - Dog sits/downs for 30 seconds while handler moves 10 feet away. Recall - With significant distractions, Dog reliably runs 6 feet to Handler when called. Strangers - The dog remains calm while a stranger holds his leash and the Handler goes out of sight for 5 seconds. Target - Dog moves 6-inches to touch his nose to Handlers palm. Trainer Skills - Handler delivers treats within 2 seconds of desired behavior. Proprioception - Dog recalls over jump bumps. Tricks - Dog does 2 tricks on a variable-reinforcement schedule (V3).
