Sunny Acres Pet Resort Doggie
Day Camp provides a safe, fun and stimulating social environment. Supervised
activities in large, fenced-in play yards give the Campers lots of physical and
mental exercise. Campers develop social skills as they play in groups according
to activity level, age, size and temperament. Eliminate the anxiety of having to
rush home and have peace of mind knowing your best friend is content while you
are away.
To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests,
we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
Age:
All dogs must be at least 8 weeks of age or older.
Sex:
All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
Shots:
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of
Rabies, Distemper-Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies is required for
puppies over 4 months of age. It is the owner’s responsibility to provide Sunny
Acres with updated vaccination records coinciding with annual vet visits.
Identification:
All Day Campers must wear a nylon or leather collar that identifies the dog’s
name. The collar must be snug enough so that the dog can not slip out of it.
Health:
All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good
health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.
Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially
jeopardize other guests. All Day Campers must be treated with flea/tick
preventative.
Behavior:
Dogs in Day Camp must have suitable social skills with other people and dogs.
Day Camp is NOT for every dog. Please remember that your pet will be spending
time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main
concern. If you feel your dog may lack social confidence or the appropriate
skills, please ask us about training.
Application:
All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file. We
require an updated application annually.
Fees:
Fees are based on a pass plan.
½ day pass: $15.00 ($12 when boarding) 7
am-12 pm or 2 pm-7 pm
1 day pass: $25.00 ($16 when boarding)
5 day pass: $100.00 ($20.00 a day)
10 day pass: $180.00 ($18.00 a day)
20 day pass: $330.00 ($16.50 a day)
Additional dogs: $15.00 ($12 when boarding)
Days and Hours:
Monday through Friday 7 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm, Saturday 7 am to 12 pm.
$1.00 per minute will be
charged for pets left after scheduled hours. Dogs not picked up by 7:15 PM
weekdays or 12:15 PM on Saturday will be considered an overnight guest and will
be transferred to the overnight boarding suites. Day Camp fees plus overnight
boarding fees will apply.
Dogs will not be allowed to
go to Day Camp on the first day of boarding at Sunny Acres unless he or she has
been here previously for Day Camp.
Weather:
Our Day Camp features acres of grassy, outdoor play areas. During inclement
weather we provide alternative indoor activities.
Reservations:
Required. But you may check with us on any given day, and if we are not at full
capacity we will accept your pet.
Cancellations:
24 hour notice must be given or full fees will apply.
Other Services:
Training and grooming are available for Day Campers.
